A cutesy girl with a big heart. Meet Azizah Impao or Zia, the 25-year old fashion enthusiast from Davao, Philippines.
Zia graduated Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Notre Dame in Dadiangas. Whilst working working as an Account Specialist at Alorica in Davao, she is also actively running 2 businesses, namely; Zmajmuea, a cosmetic brand she solely owned; and ZN’s Collection, a clothing brand she partnered in. From the business profits, she reserves 20% of it to the oprhans. A true beauty indeed!

She has been passionate about fashion since she was a child. She admit that she was not keen on wearing hijab growing up until she became a member of a Muslim organization, MSA (Muslim Student Association) in college where she learned about the importance of it through symposiums.
According to her, “It’s really a part of our everyday life, that we can express our passion through fashion without showing any flesh. That’s how I’ve started the modest fashion. And being modest is not just how we dress, but also how we act and speak.”

She said, being part of ZN’s collection made her very aware of the new generation trends in social media that engages the muslim youth, especially girls who sometimes take off their head cover just to get media following. This reality encourage her to build the modest brand ZN to emphasize on modesty.
“Removing hijab ” is not an option” she said.
Zia is also hands-on with her outfits. She designs her own gown’s beading for special events just like what she did on their university party where she bagged the Best-Dressed Award that evening.

Her style, she admit, is influenced by Dian Pelangi, Indah Nadah Puspita and Shella Alaztha, as she take them as her inspiration when she started wearing hijab. She would browse browse on their social media for different styles, color, that would fit every mood.
Her advice to the youth, “My advice specially to the young generations today, preserve your modesty. You look more beautiful when you wear hijab. Same as the beauty of the moon, it doesn’t fade even it is covered by clouds. Make fashion as your passion without giving up modesty.”
